Spent the afternoon at Nutman Avenue.



Huntington District Trains

15:05pm West bound - mixed freight 17K lead by ex Conrail 8368, NS 8860, and NS 9246.

15:12pm East bound balast train 920 lead by NS 2628.

Huntington District - Engle Road

15:36 West bound local freight LF10 with NS 5181 works Mulinex.

New Castel District - Nutman Ave

16:35 South bound Mixed Freight M77 lead by NS 2555 and BNSF 9455.

17:13 East bound local freight L97 lead by NS 6594.

17:34 East Bound mixed freight 14E lead by NS 9379, NS 7570, and NS 8968.

After I dropped my daughter off to her mom I decided to head over to New Haven Indiana to see if anything was happening around East Wayne Yard.

17:32 at Green Street - Intermodal train 217 East bound with UP 3883 and NS 9585. I

considered my self lucky to get this photo as 217 normally runs in the early morning before day light.








18:08 at River Road - Mixed freight 15E head South toward East Wayne Yard. 15E had NS 9408 and UP 8240 for power.

I headed home after these two trains as I had somet things to do.

17:35 - West bound 915 at Nutman Avenue. Light engine NS 8786.

18:20 - West bound General Merchandise train 197 at Nutman Avenue near Hugo. 197 was lead by NS 9357 and ex contrail NS 6805.

Monday April 5th, 2010

16:10 West Bound - General

merchandise train 15E at Nutman Avenue near Hugo. 15E was lead by NS 9646 and NS 8867.

16:40 West Bound - General Merchandise train 197 at the Edsall Avenue bridge lead by an ex conrail locomotive NS 8341 and BNSF 4841.

Thursday April 1st, 2010

15:50 South Bound 68z at Sandpoint Road. Train 68z is led by CN 8858 and BC Rail 4614. I believe this was a grain train. I heard this train call clear at Junction then Clear at Sand. Thought he was going West on the Chicago District. Happend to be driving on Sandpoint Road through my old stomping grounds and the gates came down. Was supprised to see this train.

15:55 West Bound 17K Approacing Hugo at Nutman Avenue. Mixed freight 17K had UP 3912 and UP 4047 for power.

16:20 51R West Bound at Numan Avenue. Grain train 51R had HLCX 5950 and HLCX 5979 for power.

Tuesday March 30, 2010 - FEC 505 North of Decatur

3:38pm County Road 1000 North of Decatur Indiana Ex-FEC 505 leads Chicago Fort Wayne and Eastern (CF&E) train FWDC north toward Fort Wayne.
